Salt Lake Community College Museum of Utah's Peoples and Cultures

The mission of the museum is to educate the Salt Lake community about the diverse peoples and cultures of Utah, past and present, by creating opportunities for greater awareness, appreciation and participation in the cultures, arts and histories of the people of Utah.

South City Campus boasts a 30,000 square foot, three-story central building with technology enriched classrooms, computer labs, a student writing center, a library and media center, bookstore, student services, faculty teaching and learning center, faculty and administrative offices, the Grande Theatre, a cafeteria, gymnasium, and swimming pool.
The museum is located in W111, adjacent to the cafeteria and student lounge, and next door to student services area. Museum facilities include seven large built-in glass cases in W111 (right) and a large display area in the Skylight Lounge (below).
Museum facilities also include a 500 square foot archaeology lab and display preparation area with storage cabinets and adjacent offices areas.
