K. Renee Barlow Curriculum Vitae (link)

I am an anthropologist specializing in archaeological method and theory, behavioral ecology, prehistory of the Great Basin and Southwest, lithic studies, paleoethnobotany, the Tarahumara, and transitions to agriculture. Currently I am an assistant professor at SLCC, and a research curator of anthropology with the Utah Museum of Natural History at the University of Utah.

I have worked on archaeological projects in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California and Petra, Jordan. Ongoing projects include archaeological research at Fremont sites in Utah, ethnographic research among the Tarahumara of northern Mexico, investigations of lithic transport technology, and the collection and processing of native plant foods.
